Abstract

319,764. Nestle & Anglo-Swiss Condensed Milk Co., (Assignees of Peter, Cailler, Kohler, Chocolats Suisses Soc. Anon.). Sept. 28, 1928, [Convention date]. Packing confectionery, cheese, &c.-Tablets of confectionery, cheese, &c., a are wrapped by enclosing in a sheet b of foil, paper &c. so that the edges h, i lie parallel in opposed relation as shown in Fig. 1. The edges are pressed together and folded against the tablet as shown in Figs. 3 or 5 to form a tight seal. The edges 'at the short sides of the tablet are similarly treated. Pressure mechanism or brushes may be used to effect the folding. The number of folds may be varied and more than one wrapper may be used. The wrapping may be employed in conjunction with that described in Specification 319,765.
