Packing caramels and the like. - Caramels and other articles containing unctuous ingredients are wrapped by first applying directly to the article 2 a strip 1 of white or coloured paper or metal foil so as to cover one or more of the sides but not the ends. At the same time, or subsequently, an outer printed wrapper 3 of transparent matter is applied to cover the article completely, and so that the printed matter is superposed over the inner strip.
