Constant-speed control systems. -The arrangement described in the parent Specification wherein a number of A.C. motors 7 - - 10 are automatically controlled to run at the same constant speed by taking current at variable frequency from an A.C. generator 6 driven by a constant-speed motor 18, is provided with resistances 36, 37, 38 connected to the rotors of the machines for the purpose of utilizing slip-energy in the rotor circuits and thus relieving the constantspeed motor 18 of an adjustable proportion of its load. The motors 7, 9 may drive cameras and the motors 8, 10, sound-recording machines. Specifications 275,582 and 297,153 are referred to.
