Abstract

319,108. Troup, J. D. July 31, 1928. Steam regenerative accumulators are provided with an external chamber or chambers in which the steam mixes with water before entering the main vessel. A mixing chamber B is arranged below the lowest water level in the main vessel A and is connected thereto by a venturi tube, and by a pipe D which is secured to the lower end of the vessel A. Steam entering the chamber B through a nozzle C induces a flow of water into the main vessel a return circulation being effected through the pipe D.
