Abstract
317,467. Morse Chain Co., (Assignees of Morse, F. L.). Aug. 17, 1928, [Convention date]. Driving-chains with separate joint pins.-The pintles are extended through and beyond the outer link plates 7 so as to leave projecting parts 10 at their ends, to prevent the side plates from working off. To accommodate these projections the end washers 12, Fig. 3, or the corresponding end plates 12<1>, Fig. 6, are dished on the inner face. The pintle shown is of the three-part type the inner part 9 being riveted over the washers, as shown in Fig. 3, or one of the outer parts 8, 8<1> being so riveted, as shown in Fig. 6.
