Abstract

316,490. Milligan, G. Nov. 16, 1928. Cameras, roll-film.-The camera has a pressure member which can be pressed by the operator against the paper backing of the film near the take-up spool to ensure that it shall be tightly wound. In one form, a thin piece of metal 11 mounted on the inside of the camera back has a press button 12 by which it can be pressed against the film. Alternatively, the camera back may be provided with a flexible diaphragm which is depressed by the operator's thumb when winding, sufficiently to bear upon the film.
