Screw motors.-A hydraulic screw motor comprises a single spiral rotor c, which may be provided with baffles, arranged in a casing a having inlet and outlet end chambers g, g<1> of considerable capacity. Fig. 2 shows the motor incorporated in a self driving machine. The rotor drives a pump p through gearing u and the exhaust liquid is thus returned from chamber Q to a supply chamber S. A relief valve Y is provided.
