Abstract

315,182. Godenir, A. Dec. 4, 1928. Wood-screws.-A device for securing articles such as electric switch plates or the like to an irregular wall consists of a, main screw bearing a suppiementary screw on its outer end. The main screw 1, the head 2 of which forms the seating for the article to be secured, may be either a bolt or a wood screw, and has a smaller screw 4, turned by a similar tool to that for the main screw, tapped into its head. In a modification the screw 1a has the supplementary screw 4b formed integral with it, this bearing a nut 5b of similar shape to the head of the main screw.
