Clips, pivoted jaw.-A clip for securing labels to railway wagons has the handle f located some distance from the free end of the pivoted arm. The handle may be a drophandle, or a cross-bar as shown riveted welded or otherwise secured to the side-members c of the pivoted arm, and standing out therefrom to facilitate gripping by the fingers. The parts f<1> extending through the usual springs d may, as shown, be the ends of the member from which the handle f is formed, or the ends of the members c. The cross-member e at the free end of the arm may be in the same plane as the parts c.
