Dress - suspender grips. - In a suspender for stockings &c. of the type comprising an upper loop connected by a metal plate 5 to a lower button-hole loop 2, the tape 7 carrying the stud 6 is directly gripped between the inturned ends of the coupling plate. The edges of the coupling plate are serrated at 8, 9, and the folded inner end of the tape is further secured by being clenched between the edges 8, 9 and the opposed face of the plate 5.
