Abstract

465,274. Suspender-grips. WEEKS, W. R. Nov. 4, 1935, No. 30455. [Class 44] In a garment suspender-grip of button-andloop type, the button tab 13 is secured to the metal &c. loop member 11 by an offset rib 15 which is forced forwardly into a slot 19, the upper limb 18 of the slot being then pressed down as in Fig. 6 to grip the rib. As described, the tab 13, button 14 and rib 15 are of moulded rubber, the button having a superficial reinforcement 23 of non-stretching fabric. The upper face b of rib 15 is preferably perpendicular to the tab 13 and the lower face c, acutely inclined thereto, as in Fig. 4a. Either or both edges of slot 19 may be serrated.
