313,785. Perry, E. J. July 18, 1928. Addition to 293,513, Creel-frame arrangements. -In a loom for weaving Axminster carpets &c. as described in the parent Specification, wherein a foundation frame a extending across the loom supports several sectional spool and tube carrier frames e, these are each provided with end bearing plates # having wedge-ended parts g for insertion in slots d in one web of the frame and hooks h to engage over the edge of the other web. Flexible spring blades q secured to the frame a have terminal teeth or detents o, which normally slide through holes n in the frame into engagement with notches p in the plates f and lock these and the sectional frames in position. By means of hand levers s on the frame a double-cranked rods t forming slides u can be operated to engage inclined parts v on the blades q to withdraw the detents and to free one or more of the frames e. Fixed upstanding facing plates i on the frame a and co-engaging spacing-studs g on the plates f ensure correct location of the frames e. The spools l are removably mounted between pairs of apertured spring blades k on the plates g. Each lever s may operate two rods t.
