Pile-fabric looms; creelframe arrangements.-In a loom wherein the pile yarns are inserted by a series of tuft tubes, the tuft-yarn spool and tube carrier frame consists of a foundation frame a extending across the whole width of the loom and a number of spool and tube-carrier frames e arranged end to end in the frame a. The frame a may be of angular section and is provided at intervals with holes d and notches j to receive the end plates g, h of the sectional frames e, which are kept kept in position by pivoted catches n, which are locked by spring plates q. Plates t resiliently connected to the end plates g, h carry the spools u. When the tails p of the catches n are depressed to free the sectional frames these may be forced out by springs l, or the catches may have cam surfaces arranged to eject the frames e, or ejection may be facilitated by small levers x, Fig. 8, pivoted to the end plates g, h and engaging the main frame a.
