313,678. Dash, W. F., and Backer & Co., Ltd., J. March 31, 1928. Addition to 281,151. Convertible trunks and tables.-In a modification of the parent invention, a picnic trunk comprises a body with a rear wall 29, a hinged lid 32, and a removable front wall 35, adapted when removed and erected on folding legs 40-43 to serve as a table. The bottom 33 has an extended lip 34 in which the lower edge of the front 35 is received. The front wall 35 and the lid 32 are connected by two locks 37. The body of of the trunk may be separated from the portion of the lid partition, and may be further divided by one or more transverse partitions into two or more compartments, one of which may have a sliding front. A loose stretcher bar is provided for separating the legs 40-43.
