312,827. Simcox, J. T. June 19, 1928. Chair keys; chairs.-Keys A are secured by a metal lock K poured through the chair jaw F into a recess in the key. The runner J on the chair jaw leads to a recess E in the hey, or the runner may be continued into the key. A groove L serves as an air vent and two runners may be used. The key may have studs M giving access by a saw to the lock K to remove the key. To prevent rail creep, bolts N pass through the rail web and engage the key. The chair may be used at rail joints without modification.
