Luggage and like holders; collision-guards.- The receptable M, Fig. 3, for carrying luggagecases &c. and the rear hinged panel C carrying spare wheels described in the parent Specification are disposed in the interior of a main box or case A<1> forming part of the vehicle body, while still being mounted upon brackets A or similar supports on the vehicle frame. The sides 9, Fig. 2, of the main box are preferably formed by extending the side walls of the vehicle body, pressing them into shape at their lower edges and connecting them by a sheet metal member 10, which serves as a mud-guard. A hinged or removable panel 11, held in place by a nut 12 which also secures the spare wheels, and a hinged over 13 carrying signalling &c. devices complete the closure. The sides 18 of the receptacle M may be joined at the rear to the sides 9 of the main box, thus forming shallow compartments H for carrying long articles such as golf clubs, canes &c. A bumper 19, Fig. 4, is preferably mounted by means of brackets 20 on pivot pins 21 so as to swing with the rear panel C about the axis B.
