Linear-dimension gauges.-Relates to a moving feeler operated indicating device for clamping to a scribing block &c. of the kind described in Specification 23947/11 and comprises a rigid bracket member a adapted for connecting with the clamping screws, and a feeler lever h pivoted on said bracket, the lever engaging the contact plunger i at one end and having an hardened ball end k for engaging the work j, thus enabling the device to be used for borings, &c. not accessible to the plunger. The bracket a is L-shaped and is perforated at one end for engagement with the screws b of the clamping saddle c which secures the device to the scriber e.
