The blocks are also fitted with caps f having bolt holes registering with perforated bosses d<4> on brackets d bolted to the frame longitudinals. Relative horizontal movement is prevented by plates g which are bolted to the crank case by bolts h and connected to the caps f and the brackets d by bolts i passing through the bosses d<4>. A pair of transverse links may be substituted for each of the plates g.
