Abstract

309,834. I. G. Farbenindustrie Akt.- Ges. April 13, 1928, [Convention date]. Void. [Published under Sect. 91 of the Acts]. Filtering-media.-Sulphuric acid solutions of titanium sulphate are purified from particles of unchanged one, carbon, and gangue by filtration through a filter cloth of nitrated cellulose. The solution must be free from trivalent titanium compounds, as the latter attack the filter cloth.
