109,269. Singer, L. July 24, 1916, [Convention date]. Void [Published under Sect. 91 of the Act]. Ammonium sulphate.-Crude ammonium sulphate is purified from tarry matters by blowing air through the solution, slightly over-saturating with ammonia filtering, preferably downwardly through clear sand, China-clay, &c., and then crystallizing. The filtrate may be treated with steam to remove any remaining traces of tar.
