Heating by indirect contact of steam.-In a high-pressure boiler heated by the circulation of steam through coils 4 in the boiler water, the feed supply to the boiler is heated in a heater 9 by steam coils 8 arranged in parallel with the heating coils 4. The heating steam is generated in tubes 1 placed in a furnace and connected to steam and water drums 2, 7. Specification 210,749 is referred to.
