Abstract

309,360. Frommer, R. von. Aug. 3, 1928. Sights.-Relates to backsights of the kind comprising a leaf 1 hinged at 2 and fitted with a slide 4 riding over an inclined or curved bearing surface 5 to adjust the sight in elevation, a spring maintaining contact between the slide and the bearing surface. According to the invention, the slide 4 is fitted with an adjustable set-screw 6, which rests against the bearing surface 5 and enables fine adjustments of elevation to be made.
