Abstract
309,269. Levy, S. I., and Gray, G. W. Feb. 10, 1928. Sulphur.-Pyrites is heated in absence of air and extracted with hydrachloric acid. The residue is roasted, the sulphur dioxide evolved being combined with the sulphuretted hydrogen obtained by the hydrochloric acid treatment to givepure sulphur.
