Abstract
305,827. Robinson, H. W., and Parkes, D. W. Feb. 17, 1928. Lead chloride.-A solution containing lead chloride is obtained by heating lead chloride and an alkali acetate in water with the addition of a small quantity of an acid. The mixture may he heated to about 80‹ C. before the acid is added, and the latter may be nitric, acetic, hydrochloric, citric, tartaric, or sulphuric acid. The solutions obtained, which may contain up to 36 per cent of lead chloride, remain clear at temperatures above about 50‹ C. Specification 305,494, [Class 2 (iii), Dyes &c.], is referred to.
