Abstract
304,697. Chemische Industrie Akt.- Ges., and Meyer, H. Jan. 24, 1928, [Convention date]. Superphosphate is stored until its calcium sulphate content has separated as CaSO4.2H2O and then dried at a temperature below that at which the water-soluble phosphoric acid is converted' to the water-insoluble form say at 40-70‹ C. By this means a single drying will reduce the water content of the superphosphate to 5-6 per cent.
