Abstract
304,692. Bandhauer, F. Jan. 24, 1928, [Convention date]. Indicating-mechanism.-An indicating device for automatic weighers wherein rough and fine indicators for higher and lower orders of weight respectively are positively connected and wherein the fine indicator, during one revolution, runs always over one and the same fixed scale and through a range equivalent to several weight units of higher order, is characterized by the fact that the fine indicator is provided with several points which one after the other pass over the lower-order scale in such manner that every time the rough indicator passes over one weight unit of higher order, one point of the fine indicator simultaneously passes over the lower-order scale, whilst the other points are obscured by a covering plate. As shown, the fine indicator 4 has two points spaced at 180‹ and is actuated by a pinion 5 and segment 1. The rough indicator 2 is carried by the segment. A plate 7 masks the point that is not requisite to the reading.
