Reinforced concrete; floors.-Concrete ribbed floors and like structures are reinforced by non- embedded wooden members 13 which are indented or recessed obliquely on the contacting surface to resist shear. Shear reinforcements 21 such as stirrups, a helical wire, screws, or like anchors may project from the concrete into the recesses. The Specification as open to inspection under Sect. 91 (3) (a) comprises also sawtooth, wavy, and dowel-like recesses and teeth, Fig. 2 (Cancelled), and the recewes are either normal or oblique to the length of the rib. This subjectmatter does not appear in the Specification as accepted.
