Systems for transmitting music; amplifying systems.-In order to obtain uniform reproduction throughout the frequency range, output valves of different characteristics are arranged in parallel and operate a single loud-speaker or separate loud-speakers having similar or different characteristics. In one arrangement, an electrodynamic and an electro-static loud-speaker are connected to valves of low and high impedance respectively. In the arrangement shown in Fig. 3, output valves R1, R2 of low and high impedance respectively, are connected in parallel and operate separate windings of a single loud-speaker Ll. The relative output of the valves may be controlled by a variable resistance W in the grid circuit of one of them.
