302,589. Telefonaktiebolaget L. M. Ericsson. Dec. 17, 1927, [Convention date]. Thermionic generators; filter circuits.-In a thermionic generator, harmonics are eliminated by arranging the frequency-determining circuit L C1 C<1>2, C<11>2 as a filter through which both the output and the oscillations utilized for reaction are passed, the capacity of the input condenser C1 being greater than the output capacity C<1>2 C<11>2. The Figure shows a generating- valve 6 transformer-coupled to the filter input 1,. the voltage across condenser C<11>2 being utilized for reaction and the total output voltage being applied to an amplifier 8. In a modification (Fig. 2, not shown) the generating-valve isdirectly coupled to the filter input, the anode being fed through a choke. By varying the ratio of the capacities C1, C<1>2 C<11>2, the desired voltage for reaction may be secured and the input impedance may be adjusted to suit the valve used as a generator,
