Abstract
301,736. Soc. l'Air Liquide Soc. Anon. pour I'Etude et I'Exploitation des ProcÚdÚs G. Claude. Dec. 3, 1927, [Convention date]. Catalytic agents, treatment of.-The regeneration of catalysts which have been used for removing nitrogen oxides from hydrogen mixtures, as described in Specification 287,577, [Class 55 (ii), Gas manufacture &c.], is effected by washing them with a dilute alkaline solution. The latter may contain alkali or ammonia in either free or combined form, e.g. as carbonate or hydrosulphide. The liquid used for decarbonating the gas mixture under treatment may also be used for washing the catalyst.
