Abstract

301,672. Hasselkus, J. W. Jan. 24, 1928. Prism systems.-A prism system suitable for telescopes has each pair of associated prisms fused or welded together with or without the interposition of a cylindrical or other block. The prisms A, B of the usual form are associated in correct position in optical contact and by the application of heat and pressure united into an integral block of glass. In a modification, Fig. 3, a lens D may be similarly unitel to a prism B, or may form one end of a cylindrical block, the plane surface of which is fused or welded to the prism.
