Abstract

299,249. Block, A. E. Feb. 20, 1928. Drawings to Specification. Heel-friction pads. - A thickened element of wedge shape in vertical section and with an inwardly bevelled top surface is secured on each side of the shoe inside the heel to grip the heel. The elements may be mounted on a web portion which is stuck inside the heel or inserted in open-mouthed pockets between the counter and the lining, with their top surfaces above the upper edge of the counter.
