Foot-arch supports.-A foot-arch support to be secured beneath a boot or shoe consists of a block of rubber &c. flat on its under surface and conforming to the shape of the boot on its upper surface, the edges of the block being curved longitudinally as shown in Fig. 4. The upper surface is wider than the lower surface so that the upper edges 9, 10 extend beyond the lower edges 11, 12. The support is curved laterally as well as longitudinally and the upper surface is provided with slots 7 and the lower surface with holes 8 as shown in section in Fig. 2.
