Abstract
298,739. Wise, W. L. Aug. 24, 1927. Clamps. - In means for securing a handle, lever, wheel, &c., on a shaft or stud, a cylindrical bar h engages a diametral slot drilled near the shaft end, a screw or cotter means &c, b integral with the bar passing through a slot x extending to the shaft end so that a nut f or the equivalent may be employed to force the bar towards the shaft end, which is thus expanded to grip the interior of the wheel &c. The end j of the bar may be of key form to engage a keyway in the wheel. The nut may serve to force the wheel against a shoulder y on the shaft.
