Cup - leather overlap joints. - A fluid-tight joint between a lubricant supply pipe 8 and a fitting 9 mounted on a motor-vehicle chassis is provided by means of a packing sleeve 38 arranged within the fitting and pressed around the pipe 8 by a coiled spring 39, the sleeve being held in place by a member 37 over which the end of the pipe is flared. Specification 279,083 [Class 102 (i), Pumps &c.], is referred to.
