Loom dobbies.-The feeder levers of a double lift dobby have curved-extensions c<3> acted upon initially by the side faces of the lattice pegs e, which afterwards lift the levers. When the pattern barrel again rotates, the pegs clear the levers, which are then free to fall and be engaged by the succeeding rows of pegs. As applied to cross border dobbies with two or more cylinders, the feeders are acted upon by supplementary pattern controlled bell crank levers as shown or have two or more surfaces arranged to be acted upon by the side surfaces of the pegs of two or more cylinders.
