Printing and impression surfaces.-Printing or impression cylinders are formed of curved rolled-metal outer segments 6 attached to radial supports 2 on a shaft 1, the components of the structure being integrally united by welding. The supports 2 are formed of rolled steel bars or rails. and a gap 3 may be left for gripping or clamping devices. The welded joints may be reinforcedl by plates, or by folding over the edges 5 of the segments 6. Discs, which may be gapped, may replace the radial supports 2.
