293,892. Jago, S. A., Crofts, W. A., and Hancock, P. W. April 11, 1927. Dust-laying compositions.-A preparation for sweeping floors, &c., having cleaning, polishing and disinfecting properties comprises a body substance such as sawdust, sand, wood pulp. or paper, formalin, paraffin wax, and paraffin oil. Essential oils, hygroscopic salts, creosote, and colouring matters may be added. In an example, the added constituents are common salt, boric acid, bicarbonate of soda, aniline dye, red ochre, oil of eucalyptus, oil of abietis, oil of cade, and creosote, all in specified proportions.
