Abstract

293,140. Leah, H. April 9, 1927. Drinking - vessels, washing.-In apparatus in which the glasses are each supported in position to be washed internally by jets of water from a nozzle, means are provided for deflecting water as it leaves the glass so that it will wash the rim and surrounding outer surface of the glass. In the construction shown, a tank 9 is provided with a supply pipe 7 fitted with nozzles 6 and with supports 2 for the drinking glasses. Each support is formed with radiating arms and is provided with an indarubber lining 3. The lining has corrugations 4, so that as water sprayed from the nozzle 6 flows down the sides of the glass it is guided around the rim and adjoining outer surface.
