Abstract
291,961. Turnbull, N. K. June 14, 1927. Galvanizing.-In a galvanizing bath of the type in which the bath is heated internally, such as is described in Specification 220,398, thermal conductors connecting the layer of lead 4 and the layer of zinc 5 and passing through the interposed layer of dross 6 are provided, said conductors comprising metallic bars 7 held together by frame 8 provided with hooks 9 by which the frame &c. mav be removed from the bath. The frame 8 of iron is so weighted that the bars 7 rest on the bottom of the bath. The bars 7 and the frame 8 may be composed wholly of iron; the portions of the bars 7 which are immersed in the lead may be composed of aluminium suitably secured to the iron.
