Abstract

291,172. Gledhill, W. March 8, 1927. Sanitary and hygienic devices.-A holder or receptacle E for disinfectant is removably held within the mouthpiece B of a telephone or other instrument by means of a. clip C adapted to engage one edge of the mouthpiece and connected directly, or by means of a spring D, to an elastic band A, Fig. 1, or to a spring clip F, Fig. 3, detachable secured around the exterior of the mouthpiece. The clip c may be detached from the mouthpiece for cleaning purposes without removal of the main securing device A or F. The disinfectant may be in tablet form, or may be a liquid applied to an absorbent pad mounted directly on the clip C or placed in the box E.
