Abstract

Sanitary and hygienic devices.-An hygienic protector for the mouthpieces and earpieces of telephone instruments consists of a cap a of goldbeaters' skin, with its edge b turned down so that it may be slipped over and gripped on the mouthpiece or earpiece, and having a circular aperture c by means of which it, with others, may be passed over a rod and thus stored ready for use. The caps may, however, be, delivered by a distributor similar to that used for telegram forms. The Specification as open to inspection under Sect.. 91 (3) (a) also states that the caps may be made of flexible material such as paper, cardboard or the like. and that the cap may be reduced to a mere washer round the edge of the instrument and can be suspended from the ear. This subject-matter does not appear in the Specification as accented.
