Abstract

290,384. Dawson, J. W. Feb. 25, 1927. Wind-propolled toys.-A mascot for motor &c. vehicles is provided with a pair of wings pivoted to one end of a movable member and means to limit the movement of the other end of the member. The mascot comprises a body 10 adjustably carried by a bracket 25 attachable to a vehicle. Wings 11, 12 are each fixed to one end of a rod 15 slidable and rotatable in a ball 17 mounted in a socket in the wall of the body. The other end of the rod is fixed to a weight 20 pivoted to one end of a movable member 21, the other end 22 of which is restricted in movement by the walls of the body. The wings will be caused to move up and down by the wind pressure thereon, the angle of the wings being changed at the end of each movement, by a movement of the end 22 of the member 21.
