Road-traffic signals on vehicles.-A direction-signalling arm g on a road vehicle is first rotated to the desired position in a vertical plane by rotating a tube e by means of a knob e<2>, and is then wagged in a plane at right angles to the first plane by pressing and releasing a rod m connected by the pivot m<2> to the arm g, which is hinged at the point h to the tube e. A pin e<4> on the tube e engages notches so as to hold the arm g in the desired position. Lamps i, j illuminate the arm g, which has front and back windows g<6>, g<5>.
