Abstract

Key rings.-A block for attachment to keys for identification and to obviate accidental mislaying of the key comprises a hollow body of metal, porcelain, glass &c. arrranged on a ring which also carries the key. In the form shown in Fig. 1, the hollow body a is formed in two parts and is suspended from a ring b as shown. Fig. 3 shows a hollow pear-shaped block d formed in two parts joined together by beading over the edges. A ring e passes through the apex of the block d which, when the block is of iron, is reinforced by a brass, or iron, liner f. In further modified constructions, the body. formed as a sphere, is rotatably mounted on a suspending bow; or, the body, formed as a cylinder, carries a rotatable split pin on which is fitted a ring carrying the key.
