Razors, safety.-A safety razor or stropping device has a pivoted blade holder frame comprising spaced arms 5 united by a tubular member 9 and headed shafts 10. 11 extending through the arms 5 in opposite directions, the tube 9 being secured to the shafts 10, 11 such as by indenting portions 12 of the former into recesses in the latter. The blade holder 1 has a portion 3 coiled round and pinioned to a shaft 2 pivoted in the arms 5 and the latter are pivoted at 6 to the razor frame 7. The shafts 2, 11 have meshing gears 17, 14. When stropping the strop engages the tube 9 so that the blade is reversed at the end of each stropping stroke. Specification 287,797 is referred to.
