Abstract

229,606. Pezuto, P., and Errigo, T. Oct. 31, 1924. Razors, safety. A holder for safety razor blades during stropping has a hollow handle 15 which houses the body portion 10 of the holder when not in use, one open end of the handle being reduced at 16 to receive the reduced ends 13 on the body portion and, in the position for use, compressing the ends 13 so as to clamp the blade between the two resilient arms of the split body portion 10. The body portion and the handle are diamond-shaped in crosssection and the distance between the inner end of the part 16 and the open end 17 of the handle is equal to the distance between the connected end 12 of the arms of the body portion and shoulders 14 between the ends 13 and the rest of the body portion. The length of the ends 13 is greater than the length of the part 16 so that, when the body portion is housed in the handle, the ends 13 project a little and can be engaged to force the body portion out of the handle for use.
