Abstract

286,767. Beatty, W. E., (Western Electric Co.). Dec. 6, 1926. Resistance furnaces.-In a method of heattreating loaded conductors, the conductor is passed through a resistance furnace 7 heated to 900‹ C. and then through furnaces 8, 9, 10 heated to 700‹ C., 500‹ C., and 300‹ C. respectively. Specifications 184,774, 188,688, and 263,207, [all in Class 36, Electricity, Conducting &c.], are referred to.
