Springs, arrangement of.-A spring suspension comprises two separately mounted springs 1, 3, of different flexibility each connected to the load and resiliently interconnected in their flexihle area. The spring 1 is weaker than, and is connected to, the spring 3 by a conical spring 2. The springs 1, 3, are suspended at the points 5 and 6 respectively. Half springs may be used and one spring may be supplemented or replaced by a group of springs. The leal spring 1 may be replaced by a beam supported by springs at the points 5. The conical spring 2 is replaced by a leaf spring.
