Abstract

285,510. Lanfers, A., and Landman, J. Feb. 18,1927, [Convention date]. Cleaning, fluid pressure processes for. - An apparatus for cleaning the soot-channels of ovens, boilers, &c. comprises a brush and suction nozzle shown in Fig. 3 which are passed through the sootchannel, the air and soot being drawn through a flexible tube to the entrance h of an apparatus for taking the soot out of the air. This apparatus is connected at k to a water tap, which is kept continuously running, the water running out at f. The soot is exhausted from the air as it bubbles through the water and passes through a watertrap g to the exhaust pump.
